Ristorante Toscano first celebrated its 20th year anniversary last December on the picturesque Charles Street, in the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill.  Owing to its proximity to the State house, City Hall, the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the financial district, Toscano’s regularly hosts local politicians, luminaries and occasionally national celebrities.  During the filming of the TV series SPENCER FOR HIRE, actor Robert Ulrich, the main character, was a frequent diner at Toscano’s.

Befitting the historic decorum and ambiance of its neighborhood, Toscano was painstakingly decorated to re-create a Tuscan rustic style; with its bare brick walls on which various and sundry antique objects hang on.  To evoke the glorious Tuscan past hand-painted plates, antique maps and original artwork adorn the walls of Toscano’s.

Toscano’s celebrated the announcement of their 5 star diamond awards for the world’s best chef and for their hospitality for 2 consecutive years; 1997 and 1998

On the local scene, Boston Magazine has voted Toscano as “Best of Boston” in the category of the best Italian food for several years.
