Sergio Bellotti is originally from Bari (south east of Italy).As a youngster he studied with the
late Italian “Drum Guru” Enrico Lucchini.

In 1995 he moved to Boston MA (Usa) as a
recipient of a full scholarship to attend
Berklee College of Music.
While in Boston,his teachers and mentors
included Kenwood Dennard, John Ramsay,
Bob Moses and Skip Hadden

He has been perfoming and Recording Internationally with various artists since 1990.
A partial list includes MIKE STERN ,
WAYNE KRANTZ JIM KELLY ,SON CARIBE,
STEVE HUNT and BRUCE GERTZ.

Sergio can be heard on Spajazzy’s  first CD featuring
MIKE STERN , on his solo debut “1:11”

Sergio at Berklee College of Music
Sergio has taught drumset at Berklee College of Music since summer of ’97 for
their summer courses and joined permanently the faculty team in the fall of 2002.
 

He is the author of the instructional book/cd  “digirhythms” scheduled to be released in the fall of 2003.
Sergio is a columnist for Italian most widely readMagazine “Drum Club” since june 2002
